These brows were tattooed back in January and healed beautifully soft and natural, exactly what my client was wanting 💖
She loved the healed result so much that we actually decided not to do a perfecting session, which is a great reminder that every client’s journey is different and not everyone will require additional work.

One of the biggest misconceptions about powder brows is that they should heal looking bold, solid and heavily “filled in.”

In reality, healed powder brows should look like a soft wash of colour sitting behind the natural brow hairs, enhancing what’s already there, not replacing it.

Freshly tattooed brows will always appear darker and more defined initially. As the skin heals, the colour softens and settles, creating a more natural, lived in result. That’s exactly what we want!

Powder brows are low maintenance, not no maintenance. Your natural brow hairs will continue to grow, so you may still need to tweeze, wax, trim, tint, laminate or use brow makeup depending on the look you like. Factors such as skin type, sun exposure, skincare products and lifestyle will all influence how your brows age and fade over time.

Before and After: Colour touch up using Brovi One Inorganic Warm Dark Brown

This lovely client originally had her brows done with a hybrid pigment range. For her touch up I switched to Brovi’s Inorganic Warm Dark Brown and here’s why:

• Softer healed finish – The Inorganic pigments have 50% less carbon black so the colour fades more naturally without getting overly dark or cool.
• Perfect for colour correction – Warm tones help refresh and balance brows that have softened or cooled over time.
• Long lasting and predictable – The healed result stays true to tone making it easier to maintain beautiful brows in the long run.

This choice was about keeping her brows looking soft, natural and perfectly matched to her skin tone.

✨Before vs. right after powder brows ✨

Fresh brows always look darker and more defined on day one which is completely normal! Over the next 10-14 days they’ll heal and soften into a beautiful, natural finish.

A perfecting session appointment is booked 6-8 weeks later for any adjustments to the colour, shape or density. This step ensures your results are flawless and long lasting 💕

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately but I wanted to share something really special and personal with you all…

My husband and I are about to begin our IVF journey and I’m feeling all the emotions — excited, nervous, hopeful and so incredibly grateful for this next step! 💖

We’ve been on the public waitlist since last February so it honestly feels surreal that we’re finally here!
Our first appointment to go over our treatment plan is on the 8th of July and we are ready for whatever comes next!

While it’s still business as usual in the salon, there may be appointments that need to be shifted around due to medical appointments — I’ll always do my best to give you as much notice as possible.

Powder brows are designed to fade naturally over time, allowing us to adjust colour & shape at your touch up 💫

When do you need to get a touch up?
Everyone's skin holds pigment differently depending on many factors such as skin type, lifestyle, medications, age, skin care & treatments.
Powder brows may need a touch up anywhere from 1 to 3+ years.. We want the pigment to have faded enough to add more pigment into the skin with out causing over saturation!

You could be due for a touch up if you notice:

✔️ The shape is still visible but lacks definition
✔️ The colour has turned cooler or warmer than when freshly done
