A few questions I’m often asked before lip filler:

Will I bruise?
Possibly! Some people experience very little bruising, while others may bruise more noticeably.

Will I swell?
Yes, some swelling is expected following lip filler. This varies from person to person and generally settles over the days following treatment.

Do you use numbing cream?
Yes! Numbing cream is applied before treatment to help make the appointment as comfortable as possible. Some dermal fillers also contain lidocaine, which helps minimise discomfort during treatment.

Every set of lips is different, so treatment is always tailored to your individual anatomy, proportions and desired outcome 🤍

Not all frowns are the same!

Anti-wrinkle treatment isn’t simply about choosing a number of units and injecting the same points on every person.

The way we frown is completely individual. Some muscles may be stronger than others, the direction of pull can differ, and even the position and shape of our muscles varies from person to person.

That’s why I always assess your facial movement before treating, and ask you to frown, looking at where the movement is coming from, not just where the lines are sitting.

We are not just treating lines… we’re treating the muscle movement creating them!

Lippies 🫶🏼

Lips are a process! For a majority of first time clients, their first lip filler treatment is really just a subtle touch and a base to start building from. If you’re wanting more noticeable and sustained volume, this often takes more than one treatment over time.

Slow and steady is always my preference, allowing the lips to settle between treatments and gradually building volume while maintaining their natural shape.

This was my clients first ever lip filler treatment, using 0.5ml of filler. A beautiful starting point, with plenty of time to build from here if she chooses 🫦✨
