I can't believe I didn't take a single photo of today's Pop Up! (and I'm a photographer 😅)
So this is just a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who popped by and made this Winter Solstice Pop Up shop such a lovely and memorable day.

Returning clients and new faces, who showed up with curiosity, with wonder, with a genuine desire to know more, to try on something new and to have a kōrero (conversation) about the mission and what I'm setting to do with Contemporanea: to bring unique, soulful, sometimes unusual, sometimes bold, and always beautiful handcrafted jewellery by female artists worldwide.

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to present and represent such an amazing range of jewellery work by so many talented artists!

Sur a Sur: From Chile with Love is here. 💜

Eleven handcrafted pieces by Natalia Sarrazin , Icha Vizcarra Orfebrería Textil , and Montserrat Wöhlk|Joyería Contemporánea. Copper, silver, bronze, and cotton. Each one brought back from Chile by hand, each one rooted in craft, culture, and story.

This collection began in a desert in northern Chile, found its shape at a jewellery show in Santiago, and made its way home to Aotearoa. Come see what these pieces are calling home.
