A little role reversal today… and I wasn’t complaining! 🤍

Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the lovely Chantelle, founder of Brows + Lashes + Skin Treatments + Waxing in Napier | Miss Fox .

I was treated to their MF Skin Script, and I absolutely loved it! We chatted all things skin, what mine actually needs, and how I can start giving it a little more love.

I’m usually the one looking after everyone else, so being on the receiving end was such a treat. And my face is feeling VERY happy about it!

To top off an already lovely afternoon, I walked away with a bag of Dermalogica NZ goodies and a new skincare routine to get stuck into.

So apparently we’re entering my skin-loving era… 😂

Sometimes, when life feels particularly crazy, the best thing I can do for myself is start the day quietly.

Between running Dosed, work, family, travel and everything else that fills the calendar, I’m learning that self-care can’t just be something I fit in when I have time. It needs to be part of creating a balanced life.

For me, one of those things is Bikram yoga. I’ve been doing it on and off for 19 years now, and somehow I always find my way back to it.

There’s something about that 90 minutes, the heat, the focus, the challenge and having nowhere else to be, that forces me to slow down and be completely present.

Not every morning needs to start at full speed.

Sometimes a quiet start is exactly what you need. 🤍
