ever since we moved into our rental space, i’ve fallen completely in love with thrifting. back in the philippines, i used to thrift clothes talaga but here in kuala lumpur, there's a whole world of thrift items to choose from and i knew i couldn't let this opportunity go, lavaaarn 🤗 i couldn't be happier to finally share the gems and treasures we’ve hunted down over the past few weeks 🪄

we visited quite a few thrift shops around kl, and honestly, bringing these pieces home has brought so much joy and fresh energy to our space... and to our toddler as well. aside from hunting for vintage, whimsical items for the house, we made sure our bub left happy with his own little thrifted toys 😂✨

when i was a kid, people used to tell me i had a "grandma style" 🤭 and honestly, maybe i really do. i’ve always loved old things and timeless styles. they remind me so much of my grandma and the threads that connected her to her ancestors. there is so much nostalgia woven into old things, and i realize now that i want to paint my current life with the colors of my childhood 🧚‍♀️

finding these pieces is such a great deal, and i’m just so grateful for it all! 🤭🍀🪷🛡️
