Tsubaki was actually one of our limited-edition variants before, and after some time, we decided to bring it back.

The idea started with my curiosity about Japanese haircare. I kept seeing Tsubaki, or Camellia Seed Oil, in hair products and hearing about how it’s loved for helping hair feel soft, smooth, and lustrous. So I thought, why not try it in a shampoo bar first?

I’ve always loved Lush, especially their solid shampoo bars. They were one of my inspirations when I started formulating.

I wanted to create my own versions using locally available ingredients. Simple, effective, and made with Filipino consumers in mind. 🇵🇭

Thankfully, this batch is for personal use. I think I got a little too generous with the oats. Definitely reducing them next time because… this bar is practically breakfast. 😆😆
