Many of us feel unworthy or undeserving of God’s attention and love. Perhaps, this emotion has prevented us from doing what we ought to do for His kingdom. We fear other people's opinions and we're scared of being ridiculed or rejected if we will do what others would usually not do. We follow the modern world, maybe because we think it’s the safest thing to do. This act often withdraws us from Him.

In this verse, I am reminded of how God values His covenant with us, just like how David kept his promise with Jonathan son of Saul. We are all like Mephibosheth. We don’t deserve His goodness but Jesus willingly died for us to save us. He did it without any reservations. He died for us because He cares and He loves us.

Remember: Focus on leaving for an audience of one. Let go of the world and embrace Him alone.

In our current "Flex" generation, we are all excited to share our achievements and our latest possessions using social media. But sometimes, we tend to forget where all the blessings come from.

Today, I'm reminded that the Lord gives and He can also take away. Therefore, pride should not blind us from complete self-awareness. When we come to understand that He is our creator, the more we will recognize that all we need is Him. When there's humility, there's freedom.

I am so glad that the Lord woke me up, and helped me realize that there is something greater than our life here on Earth.
