Last night was pure magic at SLSU Main Campus!✨ The Coro de Alcedo took center stage during the STI Engagement event with DOST Secretary, filling the hall with powerful harmonies and heartfelt performances that moved everyone present.

A huge congratulations to our former soprano 1 and secretary of the Coro de Alcedo, Joann Malayag, on passing the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers in Elementary Education! 💙✨

We all saw how you juggled it all — hitting the high notes as Soprano 1, keeping every meeting and deadline on track as secretary, and squeezing in hours of review late at night after rehearsals or after finishing club paperwork. There were days you barely had time to catch your breath, juggling lesson plans for your review with choir practice schedules and administrative tasks. Yet you never let one role suffer for the other — your voice stayed clear, the choir ran smoothly, and your dedication to acing that exam never wavered.

From filling concert halls with music to now shaping young elementary minds, you’ve always brought passion, resilience, and grace to everything you do. Your voice may have enchanted audiences before, but soon it’ll be the one guiding children through their first steps in learning — and that’s the most beautiful melody of all.
