P**O BAO/P**O RABAG 🥥🍚

Ang P**o Bao at P**o Rabag ay iisang uri ng tradisyunal na kakaning Bicolano na gawa sa giniling na bigas at may palaman na matamis na bukayo sa loob. Tinatawag lamang itong P**o Rabag sa ilang bahagi ng Camarines Norte (tulad ng Daet), habang P**o Bao o P**o Bukayo naman ang tawag dito sa Albay (partikular sa Ligao at Guinobatan) at Naga City.

Narito ang mahahalagang detalye tungkol sa sikat na meryendang ito mula sa Bicol:

🥥 Katangian at SangkapTekstura at Hugis: Malambot, makunat (chewy), at maputi ang bilog na kuwarta nito dahil gawa ito sa pinaghalong giniling na malagkit at ordinaryong bigas.

Ang Palaman: Sa gitna nito ay may siksik at crunchy na bukayo—gadgad na murang niyog na niluto sa brown sugar at gata.

Bakit “Bao”?: Tinawag itong P**o Bao dahil ayon sa mga lokal na kuwento, tradisyunal na ginagamit ang maliliit na bao ng niyog (coconut shell) bilang hulmahan nito habang pinasisingawan (steamed).

🗺️ Saan Ito Madalas Mabili sa Bicol? Kung ikaw ay naglalakbay sa Bicol Region, madalas itong ibenta bilang pasalubong o meryenda sa mga sumusunod na lugar — Bicol: Ligao City at Guinobatan sa Albay (kilala sa masasarap na gumagawa ng rice p**o macapuno/bukayo). Daet, Camarines Norte (kung saan kilala ito sa pangalang P**o Rabag).
