So, what actually happens when you train 1:1 with me? 🤔

First — it’s application only.
This is important to me as I want to know who I’m training, understand your goals, your why and make sure we’re aligned before we start.

Here’s what’s included:

• Pre-study & pre-study requirements to be completed before training
• 3 days of in-person training — ideally at your own premises so you’re learning in your own space.
• Theory + practical assessment on models completed in the 3 days.
• 6 months of ongoing support after training with case studies and continued work to complete, monthly catch ups and final competency assessment.
• Follow-up guidance as you build your skills and confidence
• Discounted access to my Business & Mindset course which is online, covering the side of the industry we don’t always talk about enough — building your business, mindset and what happens after you learn the technique.

For me, training isn’t just something you learn over a few days, it’s about giving you the foundations, practical experience and continued support to keep developing afterwards.

I’ve had a few enquiries lately about what my 1:1 training actually looks like, so over my next two posts I’m going to take you through on what’s involved.

First up: the pre-study requirements.
Before we get anywhere near the machine or a model, there’s groundwork to do. Understanding the foundations is a big part of becoming a safe, knowledgeable practitioner — not just learning a technique.

I expect students to be taking notes prior to in person when they are doing pre study as we will have a theory exam to complete during the in person training as well as practical.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I wanted to share something really special with you.

This is a single mastectomy ar**la restoration that I had the privilege of working on alongside my trainer, Jade from AUSTRALIA’S SCAR & STRETCHMARK CAMOUFLAGE SPECIALIST

We had the most incredible lady in front of us, surrounded by her lovely friends, and being able to give back in this way was a moment I won’t forget. 🥹

For women who have been through breast cancer and mastectomy, I can only imagine the mix of emotions that can come with everything they’ve experienced and the changes to their body.

An ar**la restoration might look like a small thing to someone looking from the outside, but for the person receiving it, it can carry so much meaning.

I honestly can’t explain what my heart feels when I’m able to do this work for someone else.

I remember seeing other artists doing this work before I ever started in paramedical tattooing and feeling such admiration for what they were able to create for women.

Now being on this side of it, I understand even more just how much trust, care, skill and responsibility sits behind each treatment.

I’m incredibly grateful to be learning, to be able to give back, and most of all, to the women who trust us with something so personal. 🎀

What if your hair journey isn’t about getting your “old hair” back… but making the most of the hair you have? 🤔

This photo is of my client who came to me after her daughter’s recommendation and shows the top of her head after her second Nue Strand session.

Hair changes with age. Follicles can gradually produce finer hairs, overall density can decrease, and certain medications or other factors can also influence the hair cycle.

Nue Strand isn’t a treatment that claims to fix the underlying cause of hair loss. Instead, it uses targeted technique with a specialised serum to support the scalp environment and create the conditions for healthier-looking, stronger hair growth.

There is no overnight transformation.

It’s about understanding the individual, setting realistic expectations, treating appropriately and giving the process time.

And because every scalp, hair history and underlying cause is different, results will vary.

Almost two years ago, there were very few people talking about paramedical tattoo in New Zealand especially Inkless revision 🇳🇿

After having my own experience and learning how it can help I knew there were so many people who could benefit from these treatments — they just didn’t know they existed.

So I made it my mission to talk about it, educate, create awareness and get it in front of as many people as I could.

I didn’t always know where it would lead, and not everyone understood what I was doing, but I believed in the bigger picture and in my heart that these treatments could really help and impact the people it needed to the most.

Looking back now and seeing how much the industry has grown is pretty special and more artists who want to help and make a difference in this work is pretty special to be part of 🤍

APMAC, HERE I COME! ✈️🇦🇺🥳

I’m so excited to finally be heading to APMAC 2026 in Brisbane this October!

I’ve heard so many amazing things about this conference, so I’m really looking forward to experiencing it for myself — and it’ll be my first international PMU conference! 🥹

I have no doubt Georgie and Jess are going to go all out, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve put together and love the a portion helps go towards the make a wish foundation which is such an amazing cause!

I’m most excited for the speaker lineup, soaking up as much education as I can, meeting other artists and making new connections within the industry.
And of course, being there to support Jade and Nue Conceal makes it even more special. 🤍

I’m always up for learning, growing and bringing new knowledge back to my clients and students and these events are invaluable for that.
