Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON has officially won Best Anime Supporting Character at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 🏆

Bakugo beat out strong nominees like Jinshi from The Apothecary Diaries, Jiji from DAN DA DAN, and Turbo Granny to take home the award.

For many fans, this win reflects how much Bakugo evolved throughout the series. What started as an aggressive rival character slowly turned into one of My Hero Academia’s most layered and emotionally developed characters.

In the FINAL SEASON, Bakugo’s growth, leadership, emotional moments, and loyalty to Deku became some of the most talked-about parts of the anime, reminding fans why he remains one of the franchise’s most popular characters.
