✨ THE STORY BEHIND MYRRH SCENTS ✨

More than a perfume. A story of family, memories, faith, and love. 🤎

Sometimes, a business starts with a simple idea. For us, Myrrh Scents started with family.

It all began when I asked my youngest sister, Shin-shin, to attend a perfume-making training/seminar so we could try starting a small venture. Our first attempt didn’t succeed for some reason, and eventually, we had to let it go.

Then came a beautiful reason to try again — Breigh’s Dedication and Birthday. 🎂🙏🏻

We were looking for the perfect souvenir, so I asked Shin-shin to teach my gorgeous wife how to make perfumes. We made them as souvenirs, and unexpectedly, we received so many compliments! ❤️

That gave us an idea…
Why not share these scents with more people?
And so, Myrrh Scents slowly began its journey — first as souvenirs for Dedications, Birthdays, Weddings, and other special occasions, and eventually as a retail business. We continued until my wife had to return to work, and once again, Myrrh Scents had to take a pause.

Then life gave us another reason to begin again.
Recently, Daddy passed away. 💔
Daddy was a true Fraghead who collected so many perfumes. Thinking about his love for fragrances made me realize that maybe this was the right time to bring Myrrh Scents back — not only as a business, but also as a way of carrying forward memories, passion, and something that reminds us of him.

And there is another beautiful reason behind the brand name MYRRH SCENTS.
Our little girl Breigh's full name is Myrrh Esther Braeleigh. ❤️

So every bottle carries a little piece of our family — our memories, our faith, and our purpose.

And of course, we cannot tell the story of Myrrh Scents without saying THANK YOU, SHIN-SHIN! 🥹❤️

Thank you for being there from the very beginning. Thank you for teaching Steph. Thank you for believing in this little dream.
