Hello, October. 🤍 A new month, but the same reminder: aesthetics should never be dictated by a number.

One of my least favorite aesthetic rules?

“You’re too young for that.”

Or…

“You’re old enough that you should be doing this.”

Age matters medically, but a birthday alone doesn’t tell me what procedure you need.

Anatomy, skin quality, tissue changes, goals, health, and expectations give us a much better answer. ✨

There’s no universal timeline for how you “should” age or when you “should” start.

After so many consultations, here’s what I wish every nervous first-timer knew before walking into MOLD:

✦ You don’t need to know what treatment you want. That’s what the consultation is for.

✦ You won’t be pressured into doing anything. We talk, assess, explain, and build a plan together.

✦ Ask ALL the questions. There are no silly questions when it comes to your skin and your face.

✦ Your TikTok or Instagram peg can be inspiration, but it shouldn’t be your treatment plan. What works for someone else may not be what your skin needs.

✦ More is not always better. Sometimes, I’ll actually tell you to wait, maintain, or that you don’t need a treatment at all.

✦ And you definitely don’t have to do everything at once. We start with what matters most to you and work from there.
