Skincare Green Flags š§“āØ
Healthy skin isnāt about having the longest routine or trying every viral product. Sometimes, the biggest green flag is simply knowing what your skin needsāand keeping things consistent. š¤
āļø Your skin feels comfortable after cleansing
āļø You donāt constantly switch products
āļø Your routine gets simpler over time
āļø Your skin can handle your routine without constant irritation
āļø You choose products based on your skinās needs, not just whatās trending
Your skin doesnāt need more. It needs the right care, consistency, and patience. āØ
Your hair doesnāt need more productsāit needs better habits. š¤
Some of the things we do every day, like aggressively scrubbing the hair, skipping conditioner, or relying on high heat, can contribute to dryness, tangling, and mechanical breakage over time.
Healthy-looking hair starts with simple, consistent care. Because healthier hair isnāt just about how it looks todayāitās about how you care for it long-term. š«¶š»
How often should you actually get your aesthetic treatments? šāØ
Not everything needs to be done every week! Some treatments are best done every 2 weeks, every month, or every 3 months depending on the treatment and your individual skin goals.
The goal isnāt to do more treatmentsāitās to know what your skin actually needs and when it needs it. š¤
Save this as your little guide for your next aesthetic appointment! āØ

Nothing makes my day quite like getting messages like these. š„¹š¤
As a doctor, the most rewarding part isnāt just seeing improvements in the clinicāitās hearing from patients who feel better, feel relieved, and finally see progress after something that has been bothering them for so long.
Whether itās a skin concern, a childās condition, or simply helping someone feel more confident in their own skin, these little messages remind me why I love what I do.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to send me an update, a thank-you, or even just a little āDoc, gumaling na!ā š„¹
Your progress will always be one of my favorite parts of being your dermatologist. š¤
You donāt need to spend on every aesthetic treatment thatās trending. š
If youāre going to invest in aesthetic treatments, itās worth knowing which ones actually make sense for your skin, your concerns, and your long-term goals.
In this reel, Iām sharing 5 aesthetic treatments Iād consider worth investing ināfrom treatments that support collagen and skin quality to those that address specific signs of aging.
Because when it comes to aesthetics, more treatments donāt necessarily mean better results. Itās about choosing the right ones for you. š¤

Last September 14, I had the opportunity to spend the day with the employees of the Municipality of Boac for a Skin Care Talk as part of the 126th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service. š¤
We talked about something I believe everyone should have access toāproper and practical knowledge about taking care of their skin. From everyday skincare habits to understanding common skin concerns, I was happy to share what Iāve learned through my years of practice.
What made the day even more meaningful was being able to do free skin checks and consultations for the employees afterward. It was a wonderful opportunity to listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and hopefully give them a better understanding of their skin health.
Thank you to the Municipality of Boac for having me and for giving me the opportunity to share what I love beyond the clinic. š
Grateful for opportunities like this where I can educate, connect, and serve beyond my usual practice. āØ

Do you want to burn your skin or what? š¤£
Lifeās hard.
So naturally, I decided to make it harder by owning a clinic. š
Running a clinic comes with its own set of challengesāendless decisions, long days, responsibilities beyond being a doctor, and a whole lot of things you donāt learn in medical school. š
But honestly, as hard as it can be, thereās something really rewarding about building a space of your own, caring for patients, working with a team, and watching your vision slowly come to life.
Would I choose the easier route?
Probably not. šš¤
Hereās to choosing the hard things that are actually worth it. āØ
There are so many things I hear about hair and scalp treatmentsāand honestly, not everything you see online is true. š
From hair fall and thinning to different scalp treatments, it can be difficult to know whatās actually worth considering and whatās simply a beauty myth.
As a dermatologist, I always encourage my patients to understand why a treatment is being recommended, what concern itās meant to address, and whether itās actually appropriate for them.
So in this video, Iām answering some of the most common True or False questions about scalp and hair treatments.
Because when it comes to your hair, donāt just follow whatās trending. Know what youāre treating first. š¤
