Jimin’s Father Warns Against Store Blatantly Impersonating His Family's Business 💔

Jimin's father had previously spoken out about the issue of individuals impersonating the Jimin's younger brother to deceive fans, after discovering numerous accounts that had amassed large followings by pretending to be the official Instagram account of Park Jihyun. Not only that, but these individuals also used photos of other people to mislead followers into believing they were Jimin's brother. They even spread false information, including rumors that Jihyun had a girlfriend or was working somewhere specific.
Following that incident, another case has recently emerged involving a business directly connected to Jimin's family, prompting his father to publicly speak out once again in order to prevent fans from being misled.

Specifically, on the 5th, the official Instagram account of ZM-illennial, the café operated by Jimin's family, posted an important notice stating that the 'ZM-illennial Coffee & Bakery Store' and the 'MAGNATE Clothing Store' are entirely separate and independent businesses. Although the two shops are located right next to each other, they have no affiliation, partnership, or operational relationship. Customers are advised of this to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding when visiting either store.

According to the notice, a clothing store has been operating under the name "Magnate" while using a logo nearly identical to that of Jimin family's former brand. "Magnate" was the name used by the family café from its opening until it was rebranded in August 2024. Due to the similarities in both the name and branding, many customers and ARMYs mistakenly believed that the clothing store was also operated by Jimin's family.
However, through the latest statement, Jimin's father made it clear that the two businesses have absolutely no connection whatsoever. The notice is also being viewed as a public warning regarding a brand that appears to be taking advantage of public confusion in order to attract attention and benefit from its perceived association with the family of the BTS member.💜

In fact, this is not the first time Jimin's family has faced issues related to the Magnate brand, and it was also the reason why the café ultimately changed its name. In August 2024, while announcing the rebranding of the café, Mr. Park explained on Instagram: "This change is due to an unrelated company having registered the 'Magnate' trademark and attempting to sell products under this name."
To avoid unnecessary disputes and confusion, Jimin's family decided to rename the café "ZM-illennial". According to Mr. Park, the name combines the word "Millennial," symbolizing a thousand years, with the letter "Z," representing the MZ generation. The new brand reflects the family's desire to build a lasting and meaningful connection with younger generations for years to come.

Located in Daeyeon-dong, Nam-gu, Busan, the family café has long become a must-visit destination for ARMYs from around the world.
Any attempt to impersonate or falsely associate oneself with BTS members or their relatives should be condemned. Fans are therefore encouraged not to support such activities and to help spread the clarification so that more people can be informed and avoid being misled 💛💌
