Happy New Year to all Car Rental Businesses (may it be Big/Starting). Here are my lessons learned during our Bicol Car Rental experience.

Lessons learned as a rentee:
1. Research VERY Well the Renter (check reviews/comments on the page or better yet if you knew them personally)
2. Be professional especially with time… advice early if you cannot make it or if you are extending and be observant/SENSITIVE! if there are other rentees who will suffer your poor planning!
3. Fine, not everything goes the way you’ve planned. Apply maximum tolerance 🥴 seriously but seriously.
This happened during the holidays, because the promised unit(6-7seater) to us during booking was delivered a day late and worst yet, it was replaced with smaller unit(4-5seater). Yup! it’s the freaking season of forgiveness 😌

Lessons learned as a Renter
1. Draft that contract well detailed and good and implement it strictly (let us all be professional).
2. Best to rent your unit to someone you knew or someone you knew knew them personally. (Lesser stress)
3. In chances of unforeseen (A-hole rentees), apply maximum patience too 🥴 the stress is not worth your peace of mind.
4. Always have a back up plan for those cases in number 2 or better yet do not accept rental that are close in dates.
