Growing up, I didn't have it easy. I was born into a poor family where survival was a daily battle.

But very early on, I made a firm decision: I refused to let poverty become my identity.

I hated the lack, and I knew nobody was coming to rescue me.

Back in secondary school, my life was a juggling act, but I gave everything 100% of my best.

⏰ 4:00 AM: I was awake, mixing flour, and frying fritters to sell.
⏰ 7:00 AM: I was clean, sharp, and sitting in class ready to learn.

I employed our school caretaker’s wife to manage the fritter sales while I was in class.

But my days didn't end with business and lessons.

I was also the School Head Girl and the President of the Debate Club, carrying leadership responsibilities on my shoulders.

When I knocked off and went home, I had to fetch water, cook, and other house chores.

Only after all that was done could I sit down to make handmade doormats using cotton wool to make an extra Kwacha (take a look at the photo attached!).

Was it exhausting? Yes. Did I have every reason to fail? Absolutely.

But I put my heart into it. I didn't pass with flying colors, but I passed well and unlocked my future because I refused to give up.

Everything is possible when you give it your all!

So today, when I hear young people giving endless excuses—"Oh, I don't have a sponsor," "The economy is bad," "I have too many chores at home," "I don't have time"—I shake my head.

There is absolutely no excuse for failure. Stop using your background as a reason to remain stagnant!

Stop negotiating with comfort and turning struggle into your daily language.

🚨Here is the hard truth:
1. Get a clear vision: Stop living on "vibes" and wishes. Define the exact career, business, and income you want for yourself.

2. Set serious targets: No more "One day, God will do it" while you sit on the couch. God blesses the work of your hands! Put in the extra hours. Learn that new skill.

3. Cut off distractions: Laziness and wrong friends are poverty’s best friends. If your circle only discusses gossip instead of business and growth, cut them off.

Poverty is not just an empty wallet—it’s a mindset.

Until you stand up, look at your reflection, and loudly declare, "This is not my life!", absolutely nothing will change.

Fight for yourself.

Work like your life depends on it, because it actually does.

Refuse to settle. Refuse to normalize the struggle.
