Events like these are so much more than destination inspiration. They are about strengthening relationships, sharing market insights, creating new business opportunities and connecting the right people across the luxury travel industry.

A full day and evening of inspiring meetings, valuable conversations, new ideas and, of course, plenty of laughs. This is what makes our industry so special — great destinations, but even greater people and partnerships.

Kastanj Collection was delighted to welcome our valued partner Wilderness, together with Anton Noll, Sales Manager Europe, for a great programme of partner visits and B2B meetings.

We were also proud to showcase the Kastanj Collection portfolio at the fantastic Travel Support B2B event — bringing together around 150 travel agents a day and evening in an atmosphere filled with energy, inspiration and great conversations.

It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships, introduce our exceptional portfolio to new travel professionals, and create exciting opportunities for future business.

For many of us, our first safari was from a sofa. Childhood eyes learning to love something we had never seen, in places we had never been. The wild was no longer far away, it was right there in our homes.

At the heart of this was David Attenborough. He didn’t just bring nature closer. He shaped how we see it. And more importantly, how we value it. Because of him, entire generations didn’t just grow up watching wildlife, they grew up caring about what happens if it disappears.

For many of us working at Wilderness, that spark led somewhere real. From television screens to open vehicles, from childhood fascination to working with wildlife or young communities through CITW. Today, his legacy lives in the choices we make, the journeys we take, and the responsibility we carry to safeguard what remains.

And today, as he turns 100, we thank him and celebrate a life that continues to inspire.

Days was filled with wonderful meetings — reconnecting with our fantastic partners in the Kastanj Collection family and making new acquaintances who may soon become part of our journey. As always in our industry, there were warm laughs, lively conversations, and that special energy that happens when people who love travel come together.

But this year felt different. Walking through the halls, many booths and tables stood empty, casting a quiet shadow over the fair. It was a reminder — once again — of how fragile our world can be.

And yet, perhaps because of that, our meetings felt stronger, our conversations deeper, and our shared determination clearer than ever.
