Mission Accomplished: Guangzhou ➝ Amsterdam in a Race Against the Clock ✈️🌍

Some shipments are urgent. Others are mission-critical.

Last Thursday evening, our team at Declarators Pte Ltd received a time-sensitive request to move a shipment from Guangzhou to Amsterdam by On-Board Courier (OBC). The timeline was extremely tight, and there was no room for delays.

Our response had to be immediate.

Within just two hours, our operations team had:

✈️ Secured the flight arrangements
📦 Coordinated the collection and transportation plan
🛂 Worked through the necessary airport and shipment arrangements
👩‍✈️ Mobilised our dedicated OBC specialist, Evelyn

Evelyn departed Singapore on the 4:20 AM flight to Guangzhou.
But landing in Guangzhou was only the beginning.

After arrival, she travelled approximately three hours to the collection point, collected the shipment, and then made another three-hour journey back to Guangzhou Airport, all to ensure the shipment could catch its scheduled flight to Amsterdam on the very same day.

It was a demanding mission, but every critical stage was executed according to plan, from collection and transportation to airport handling and onward flight arrangements.

The result? Mission accomplished. ✅

And after completing the mission, Evelyn even managed to squeeze in a little time to experience Amsterdam, including the iconic Zaanse Schans windmills. 🇳🇱🌷

Although this farewell took place two months ago, the memories remain just as meaningful. Our Declarators HQ team came together to celebrate the remarkable journey of our Operations Manager, Lee Yih Joe, and to thank her for everything she has contributed to the company.

When Joe joined Declarators in October 2022, few could have imagined the impact she would make in such a short time. 🚀

Through unwavering commitment, exceptional performance, and a willingness to take on every challenge, she progressed from Operations Executive to Operations Manager, achieving an impressive four promotions during her time with us.

Her dedication never went unnoticed. Joe was awarded 2nd Place – HQ Best Employee of the Year 2024 🥈 before being crowned HQ Best Employee of the Year 2025 🏆 — a true reflection of her consistency, leadership, and pursuit of excellence. 🌟

Beyond her achievements, Joe was someone her colleagues could always rely on. She led with humility, supported her teammates wholeheartedly, and played a significant role in strengthening our operations and company culture.

In recognition of her outstanding legacy, we are honoured to welcome Joe as the 13th inductee into the Declarators Hall of Fame—an honour reserved for individuals whose contributions have left a lasting mark on our organisation.
