WHY DOES EVERYBODY SUDDENLY START ASKING, “HAVE YOU DELIVERED?” 😂

At 30 weeks, nobody is too concerned.
You walk around normally.
Then you hit 35 weeks…
BOOM!
The belly is HUGE. 😂
It's no longer:
“Aww, you're pregnant.”
It's now:
“AH! You're still pregnant?!” 😭
You enter a room and everybody looks at your stomach first.
You meet someone you haven't seen in two weeks:
“Wait… you have not delivered?”
You: “No.”
Them: “But you were already this big the last time I saw you!” 😭😂
As if the baby was supposed to check out because your stomach had reached a certain size.
Then the questions begin:
“What's your due date?”
“Next month.”
“NEXT MONTH?!” 😳
As if you personally chose to extend the pregnancy. 😂
At 36 weeks:
“You can deliver any day now.”

Everybody suddenly becomes a prayer warrior, midwife and pregnancy calculator.
😂😂😂

Some pregnant women actually enjoy the excitement.
Others are already anxious about labour, and the constant questions make the countdown even more stressful.
Pregnancy has entered its final season. Everybody is now an expert. 😂

“Have you delivered?” can start sounding like:
“Why are you still pregnant?” 😭😂
So yes, we understand the excitement.
But sometimes the pregnant woman doesn't need another countdown.
She just needs:
“How are you doing?” ❤️

Mums, who was the person that asked you “Have you delivered?” the MOST?

There is a special kind of tired that comes from doing housework… and then watching someone immediately undo it. 😭😂...

Have you ever cleaned the house so well that you actually stood there admiring your own work?
Floor shining.
Kitchen clean.
Cushions arranged.
Everything in its place. 😌
Then one person enters.
Shoes on the clean floor.
Bag on the freshly arranged chair.
Clothes thrown somewhere.
Cup left on the table.
And suddenly, the house looks like you never touched it. 😭😂
You look at the person.
The person looks at you.
Nobody says anything.
But inside your head:
“So… we are enemies now?” 😂😂
And the worst part?
You know you will clean it again.
Because apparently, this house has chosen YOU. 😭

Ladies, what is the ONE thing people in your house do that makes you say,
“Please, I beg you, leave me alone!” 😂

Declare With Me 🙌

I declare that the joy of the Lord is my strength.
I will not allow the pressures of life to steal my joy.
My home will have laughter, my heart will have peace, and my strength will be renewed. Amen.

I declare that the blessings coming into my life will come with peace, wisdom and grace.
I will not exchange my peace for what God never asked me to carry. Amen.

Welcome to COUNTING DOWN: THE REAL LAST DAYS OF PREGNANCY. 🤰🏽

“Your due date is getting closer.”

And suddenly everybody has an opinion. 😂
“Have you packed your hospital bag?”
“Are you ready?”
“Baby can come any time now!”
Meanwhile, the pregnant woman is thinking:
“READY FOR WHAT EXACTLY?!” 😭😂
Because getting close to your due date can feel VERY different.
One woman is counting down excitedly:
“I can't wait to meet my baby!” ❤️
Another is counting down nervously:
“Labour is actually coming…” 😭
Another is thinking about money.
Another is worried about who will care for her other children.
Another is exhausted and just wants her body back.
Another has a supportive partner beside her.
Another is carrying almost everything alone.
And some women are experiencing all of these emotions in the same week.

So if your due date is approaching and you're excited, scared, tired, impatient, emotional, or all of the above…
