Why has blepharoplasty become one of the most commonly performed aesthetic surgeries worldwide? 👁️
According to the ISAPS annual survey, blepharoplasty recently moved ahead of liposuction in global surgical rankings.
One possible reason is that the eyelid area plays a significant role in how we perceive age. Excess upper eyelid skin may not only create an older or tired appearance, but in some patients, it can also interfere with the visual field.
