In 2015 after a week of sharp belly pains I decided to visit the hospital when the pain became unbearable.
I was scared and my mind was thinking a million thoughts. Tests were done ..results came back that everything seemed ok...Thank God for the doctor who saw me ..." Miss Christmas I sending you for an emergency ultrasound ".
Well allyuh what happened after changed my life for ever. The doctor doing the ultra sound looks at me " Miss Christmas when was your last period?"..
"Last month doctor."
"Any irregularities?"
"No doctor"
"You are 4 months pregnant and you have a small FRIBROID"
The doctor left the room and I just laid on the bed processing the news...
I started to think of persons I knew
Stories I heard of pregnancies with fribroids
I got scared, overwhelmed
The doctor said she wanted me to join the hospital clinic since it was an "at risk" pregnancy
I researched natural ways to deal with the situation and moringa was tea most mornings.

As I collaborate with community groups and police youth clubs to execute this project to educate and change lives for a healthier generation and healthier Tobago at large.
