1. Kukua kwa tezi dume (BPH – Benign Prostate Hyperplasia).
↳ Kukua kwa tezi dume, haihusishi, saratani wala maambukizi...
2. Maambukizi ya bacteria (Prostatitis).
↳ Huambatana na maumivu makali na huathiri uwezo wa uzazi.
3. Saratani ya Tezi Dume (Prostate Cancer),
↳ Hii ndio hatari zaidi husababisha vifo vingi vya wanaume duniani.
DALILI KUU ZA MWANAUME MWENYE TATIZO LA TEZI DUME
•Kukojoa mara kwa mara hasa nyakati za usiku (Nocturia).
•Mkojo kutoka kwa shida au kuchelewa kuanza kutoka (Hesitancy).
•Mtiririko dhaifu wa mkojo (Weak urine stream).
•Hisia ya kutomaliza mkojo kwenye kibofu (Incomplete bladder emptying).
•Maumivu au kuchoma wakati wa kukojoa (Dysuria).
•Damu kwenye mkojo (Hematuria) au damu kwenye shahawa (Haematospermia).
•Maumivu ya nyonga, chini ya mgongo au sehemu za siri endapo ni saratani.
KUWA NA DALILI HIZO SI KIGEZO, UCHUNGUZI WA TEZI DUME NI MUHIMU SANA (Diagnostic Workup).
UCHUNGUZI WA TEZI DUME
1. Digital Re**al Exam (DRE):- Daktari huingiza kidole kwenye njia ya haja kubwa kuchunguza ukubwa, umbo na uimara wa tezi dume...
2. Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA):- Kipimo cha damu kupima kiwango cha protini inayoongezeka endapo kuna saratani au maambukizi.
3. Ultrasound ya tezi dume (Prostate Ultrasound/Transrectal Ultrasound – TRUS):- Hutoa picha sahihi kuona ukubwa, umbo na uwepo wa uvimbe.
4. Urinalysis & Urine culture:- Kuchunguza k**a kuna maambukizi kwenye njia ya mkojo.
5. Biopsy (ikiwa inahitajika):- Kuchukua kipande kidogo cha tezi dume kwa ajili ya uchunguzi wa saratani.
NB: Afya ya mwanaume haihitaji mzaha, dalili za tezi dume ni sauti ndogo mno ya mwili ikikuonya kabla ya hali haijawa Kubwa.
