Deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism: Blood clots in the leg veins that can dislodge and move to the heart and lungs.
Arrhythmia: A problem with the heart's electrical conduction system.
Valve disease: A problem with the heart valves, such as leaking or tightening.
Heart failure: A problem with the heart's ability to pump and relax.
