Sista, let me tell you something!

I have lost 100 pounds myself. I have BEEN the bigger girl getting a Brazilian, worried about what someone might think of my body. I know exactly what it’s like to feel uncomfortable in your own skin.

And guess what? I have loose skin too!! So when I tell you I understand, I truly mean that.

I know what it’s like to worry about being judged, especially when you’re in such a vulnerable position.

But I want you to know a few things…

• I do not care if we went to high school together, go to church together, or see each other at Walmart every week. 😂

• I do not care if you have loose skin, stretch marks, scars, cellulite, or haven’t shaved in months.

• I am NOT looking at your body the way you look at your body. I’m focused on doing my job and making you as comfortable as possible.

• Your privacy is SO important to me. What happens in my treatment room stays in my treatment room.

• You will NEVER have to apologize to me for how your body looks.

Your first Brazilian might be a little nerve-racking, and yes, it might be uncomfortable for a few minutes. But I promise you, it is not awkward for me, and I don’t want it to be awkward for you!

I’ve been on the other side of that table. I’ve had those same insecurities. And the LAST thing I would ever want is for another woman to feel judged in my room.

Your body does not have to look a certain way to deserve to feel beautiful, confident, and taken care of.

A Little Skincare Reminder 🤍

Just a reminder that influencers on Facebook and TikTok are not estheticians. I love seeing my girls share products that work for them, but I do cringe when I see certain products being recommended so heavily online.

Some products can make your skin look great initially while slowly compromising your skin barrier with continued use. Once that barrier is damaged, it can take a long time to get your skin back to a healthy place.

Invest in your skin and see a licensed esthetician who can properly assess your skin and recommend professional products that are appropriate for your specific skin type and concerns. Even professional products are not one-size-fits-all.

And please do your research when choosing an esthetician. Education, experience, and knowing how to properly treat different skin types matter.

Your skin deserves more than a viral recommendation. 🤍
