Some memories are too special not to share. ❤️

Cleaning out my closet today, I came across a handwritten note and bottle of w**e from Kelly Ripa, dating back to 2010, when I appeared on her television show Homemade Millionaire.

I was there to introduce my invention, Window Origami™, an innovative window treatment I had created in hopes of bringing it to market.

What an incredible experience that was!

I’ve always been an inventor at heart. My mind is constantly working, coming up with new product ideas and finding creative ways to solve everyday problems.

For me, inventing is the easy part. Turning an idea into a successful product is the real challenge.

I’ve had so many ideas over the years, and I’ve learned that passion, persistence, and a great invention don’t always guarantee commercial success.

But here’s something that makes me smile…

When I appeared on that show in 2010, I was already wearing a piece of jewelry I had created called Embrace the Difference®.

Little did I know how meaningful that creation would become.

Of all my inventions, Embrace the Difference® has been my most successful—and without question, the one closest to my heart.

Inspired by my son Sam, it was never just about creating jewelry. It was about creating something that could make people feel seen, accepted, and connected.

I’ve invented products to solve problems. But Embrace the Difference® was created to touch hearts.

And looking back, that may be the greatest success of all.

Being a grandparent is one of life’s greatest gifts—even when you’re not allowed to show your grandchildren’s faces on social media! 🤣

Their sweet faces may be blurred, but the love and joy they bring into our lives could never be hidden.

Love connects generations. We are all connected, no matter our differences.

After the news that a school has banned a child with autism from taking a school trip, I feel the need to write this. There are fathers and mothers who don't invite these children to their children's birthdays. There are kids who want to be on a team but don't get picked because it's more important to win than include these kids. Kids with special needs aren't weird, they just want what other people want.

Seeing Sam happy makes me smile.

There’s something about his pure joy that is contagious. Today it was a GIANT green stuffed animal and a smile that says it all. 😊

These are the moments I treasure most—the simple ones that remind me that happiness really is about enjoying what’s right in front of you.

What began as my way of thanking those who embraced my son, Sam has grown into something far greater than I ever imagined.
