Good morning and happy Monday!☀️

So as many of you know I've temporarily moved to Jacqueline's Salon on Leicester Highway. And although I had originally planned to go on vacation 8/6-8/15 and become a beach bum, I've decided to stay here and try to get as much if not all the work 🫣🤪that needs to be done in my new salon space!! I will keep you all updated with the progress! If you have any questions about your upcoming appointment feel free to reach out. I am going to be letting everyone know week by week where to go for their appointment. Thank you and I hope everyone has a great week! 😘

Hey everyone! Wanted to let you all know that I am moving. 😩Although I haven't fully committed in my heart or my head I will be starting next week at Jacquline's on Leicester Hwy. Obviously it is temporary until my new space is up and ready. I am very sad to leave my sweet little spot but excited for the change too. I will be reaching out to everyone prior to their appointment to make sure you know where to go. I will not waste any time in getting the ball rolling on the new spot and can't wait for you all to see it. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. Hey and HaPpY FrIdAy! 🤗
Sitting here thinking about my job after texting with a friend about her hair and the ideas she has. Her last text to me was saying she was so excited. Which of course made me happy! Isn't that what it's all about? So the more I thought about this conversation and others I've had with so many of you, it's become clear to me why I keep doing this. I want to make people feel good. I want you to love who you see in the mirror.
But lately, I've felt a TON of pressure that, in my opinion comes with this industry. The pressure to do hair a certain way, to follow and be up on all the trends, even to take on more clients. It can be exhausting. I have not 100% had "fun" doing this lately. I worry after 26 years of standing behind the chair, if I'm still good enough. That's a horrible feeling.
So today, I am changing how I think about my little business. I will no longer allow the latest trends or whatever everyone is obsessing over to stress me out. I will no longer over book myself or feel guilty when I can't "squeeze" someone in. No longer going to feel bad when someone cancels because I can't get them in a week sooner. I will no longer rush to answer text messages on days off and unfortunately , the list could go on. But..
What I WILL continue to do is be myself, because I believe in authenticity. I will continue to do my very best at making you feel beautiful and confident when you leave my chair. I will continue to have strict hours so I'm not burnt out, my family isn't neglected and so you get the best version of me. I will continue to be the person that you can unload on with no judgement and maybe give a small bit of advice. I will continue to offer you what I feel is the best of the best.
I love what I do and I feel like these days that is rare. I have met and gotten to know so many cool people. A lot of you I consider friends. I am thankful that you all have and continue to choose me.
So with all this said, things may shift slightly but don't worry that I'm going to change everything I do. I just needed to share some thoughts about my business.
I still think I have the best clients/friends around and I'm truly so thankful for you all! Hopefully you take something positive away from this. Have the best weekend and I'll see you all soon!❤️✌️💇🏻‍♀️
