October is such an easy month to center yourself before the holiday rush! The weather feels good, community is strong, and lots to look forward to still this year. A little extra self care now can make all the difference !
As always booking and location are linked in my bio.
I look forward to seeing you on my massage table!
š Iām finding it more joyful to do activities outdoors as the late summer, and early fall has begun! Iām reminded that the fall is a great time to increase my cardio and reach for what is in season at the market (squash, figs, cornā¦).
October is a great month to add in a Lymphatic Massage not only for immune health but to prioritize our well-being as we head into the crazy holiday season.
As always booking is linked to my bio along with my location.

Money canāt buy happinessā¦but it can buy 60 minutes of peace. š
Itās easy to spend $100 going out to eat, ordering things we donāt really need, or covering another night out without thinking twice. But investing that same money into an hour where your only responsibility is to breathe, reset, and let your body receive care? That hits differently.
Sometimes you simply need time to release tension, calm your nervous system, support your recovery, and reconnect with the body that carries you through everything.
Iām incredibly grateful for every client who chooses to prioritize their well-being and trusts me to be part of that process. Your body deserves to be included in the way you care for your life. š¤

One question I get all the time is: āDo you work with high school athletes?ā
Absolutely.
This summer has been full of high school athletes preparing for college camps, gearing up for the fall season, and doing everything they can to stay healthy and injury-free.
Massage therapy is just one piece of the performance puzzle. I love collaborating with athletic trainers, chiropractors, strength coaches, and physicians to help support an athleteās overall care. The best outcomes happen when everyone works together.
One of the biggest lessons I try to teach young athletes is independenceālearning to understand their own body. So many movement patterns, compensations, and overuse injuries begin during the high school years. Developing body awareness, improving movement quality, and correcting mechanics now can have a lasting impact on performance and long-term soft tissue health.
A huge shout-out to Dr. Martin and the team at Malucci Sports Therapy in Alpharetta for the incredible work they do with athletes, and to Marist School for continuing to invest in the health and performance of their student-athletes. Itās an honor to be part of the team helping these athletes perform at their best.
āTighterā doesnāt automatically mean āpush harder.ā š
Sometimes that tension is your body protecting, stabilizing, or compensating ā and throwing more pressure at it isnāt necessarily the answer.
A good massage therapist is constantly asking:
Is this tissue actually shortened?
Is the nervous system guarding?
Is another area creating the compensation?
Does this person need pressure, movement, mobility⦠or a little bit of everything?
Deep pressure can feel AMAZING when itās appropriate. But effective bodywork isnāt a competition to see how much pain you can tolerate.
The goal isnāt to fight your body. Itās to figure out why itās holding on in the first place.
