This morning, we received a phone call that truly touched our hearts. ❤️

A client who hadn’t been to our salon in a very long time called us and said:

“Maybe you don’t remember me, but the first thing I wanted to do today was call your salon and apologize.”

About a year ago, she had been going through an extremely difficult time in her life. She had lost her job, things weren’t going well, and she was struggling emotionally.

During that time, she left our salon a 1-star review and even created multiple accounts to leave more 1-star reviews.

But today, a year later, she told us that she had sat down and reflected on everything she had done.

And the first thing that came to her mind was our salon.

She realized that we had actually treated her very well. She said our service had been great and that we had done nothing wrong. She explained that her anger and frustration at the time came from everything else she was going through in her life.

She told us that she had removed those reviews.

And she didn’t call asking for anything.

She simply wanted to say:

“I’m sorry.”

Honestly, we were touched.

We told her that we appreciated her honesty and her apology, and most importantly, we hope life is in a much better place for her today. 🤍

This phone call reminded us of something important:

Sometimes, people are fighting battles we know nothing about.

We may remember what someone did to us, but we may never know what they were going through when they did it.

Today, we choose to remember her apology, her honesty, and the courage it took to call us after a year.
