I often use the crochet, finishing needles to reattach broken LOCS.

This tool has many uses. Here I have used it to repair a stress spot that has slipped in the middle of a LOC.

Usually the LOCS, we have framing our face will be our thinnest LOC’s due to low density and fine texture.

it is very natural, especially with Sisterlocks to have the lock sizing change slightly throughout the head based on texture and density.

The smaller locks will need to be maintained occasionally in this manner to reinforce them as they are more susceptible to stress and stretch damage during styling.
