Of course! Glam comes in levels: soft glam is all about natural elegance, while full glam is bold, dramatic, and eye-catching. Many brides love full glam for that confident, show-stopping bridal look—it’s all about owning your beauty, at every level.

I CANT DO THIS !!!!!

Yesterday, in the middle of an appointment, I seriously considered putting my brushes down for good.

I’ve had moments where I’ve questioned this industry before, but never like this. I was literally finishing a service when I thought to myself, I can’t keep doing this.

It wasn’t because I lack the talent or the passion. It wasn’t because I don’t love making women feel beautiful.

It was because I realized I no longer have the patience to keep operating my business the way I have been.

I’ve come to realize that I value my services more than many people value them. I prioritize my clients being ready for their events more than they do. I protect their time more than I protect my own.

And that has to stop.

We’re living in a time where makeup artists are often treated like teachers—we’re needed, but not always respected. We’re expected to go above and beyond, but our time, expertise, and boundaries are often undervalued.

I’m asked to stay later. Add just a little more blush. Wait because someone else’s hairstylist is behind. Make exceptions. Bend policies. Extend deadlines. Squeeze in one more person.

And for years, I’ve done it.

But here’s the truth: I don’t blame my clients.

I blame myself.

I blame myself for not running my business the way so many successful businesses do.

I blame myself for loving to serve more than I loved to protect my own well-being.

I blame myself for making everyone else’s emergency my urgency.

I blame myself for opening one more class because someone got paid that day.

I blame myself for answering calls at 11 p.m. when I needed rest.

Some might see these as good business practices, but today, I see that, in many ways, I abandoned myself.

And I simply can’t do that anymore.

I can no longer put what’s best for the client ahead of what’s best for my brand.

I can no longer undercharge while delivering a luxury-level service.

I can no longer offer “just one more thing” for free, or extend deadlines because of poor planning.

None of this comes from anger.

It comes from clarity.

This past year has taught me that taking care of myself is not selfish—it’s essential. When something doesn’t feel right, it’s because it isn’t.

What’s meant for me will find me. I don’t have to sell myself short to stay in this for the long haul.

I’m so grateful for every client who has trusted me over the years. You’ve let me be part of some of life’s most beautiful moments, and I will never take that for granted.

Right now, I’m stepping back—not because I’m giving up, but because I’m evolving. I’m returning to the drawing board to rebuild this business in a way that honors both my clients and the woman behind the brand.

And when I return, it won’t just be with brushes in hand—it will be with stronger boundaries, clearer purpose, and a business that truly reflects the value I bring.

I also have to be real with myself—everything is just so much more expensive now. Foundations alone are about $50 a bottle, but people still expect $50 services. And honestly, that really hurts. It feels like an insult—like I’m being asked to give half my artistry when I’m investing so much in my craft. I can’t keep carrying that alone.

None of this comes from anger.

It comes from clarity.

This past year has taught me that taking care of myself is not selfish—it’s essential. When something doesn’t feel right, it’s because it isn’t.

What’s meant for me will find me. I don’t have to sell myself short
