When it's time to learn.

The body, the mind, and the spirit were never meant to work separately.

This photo reminded me of the process.

I was going through casting for a Macy’s Fashion Show after being scouted by Sean John. The process took all day, and with thousands there and many faces younger than mine, I’d be lying if I said doubt never crossed my mind.

But here’s the ironic part…

Nobody asked my age.

Macy’s and Sean John simply wanted to work with me.

And that reminded me of something powerful — sometimes we spend so much energy worrying about things that don’t even matter.

I ended up doing the show, getting paid, and walking away with more than an opportunity… I walked away with perspective.

Preparation met opportunity, and the grind handled the rest.

Sometimes the motivation we search for externally has already been within us the entire time. Stay focused on the goal… and let the work speak for itself.
