Good afternoon, everyone. Now that the weekend is done and we've had a moment to rest and reflect we want to take the time to express our appreciation for a few special people, organizations, and the community as a whole.

First and foremost, my business partner and best friend...Laura Bella Donna St Martin I could do none of this without you and I'm so very blessed and grateful for our friendship. You are my sister and my voice of reason. I love you. Also, Mr. Jake Richman and Moth and Moth & Magpie Tattoo Studio ....you were the other brain cell behind this crazy random idea and we are so thankful for everything you have done and continue to do. We can't wait to see what kind of chaos we can come up with next!!! Mr. Doc H. St Martin ....thank you for you undying support and beautiful energy. Your tenacity and community spirit are truly second to none and we truly hope that you will continue to push forward along side us to help make this community everything it can be.

Next AUGUSTA PRIDE board and the amazing staff of Edge Nightclub ...thank you for collaborating with us...promoting us...supporting us...and most importantly trusting us to follow through with this event. Trust is a sacred commodity, especially in this particular community, and we're honored to have earned that trust. Michael Barnard Jenkins ...you've done well. I've never known Pride without you at the helm, and while I'm so sad to see you step down, I'm equally excited to see what Mr. Joseph Wallace brings forward in his new role. Mel Randall you're a good human even though you do your best to show otherwise. We see you and we appreciate you. We are looking forward to further collaboration and shared events. Miss Carla Cox and Miss Britney Tabor , you both work harder than most people know...do NOT give up...you are doing so many great things for this community. Ignore the haters and keep going. You are both beautiful people...we love you.

To the community....we are so freaking proud of you all! Roughly 50 people showed up to Walk with Pride, Augusta! and we were truly honored and moved to see you all stand and walk with us as we honored not just the Pride movement of today, but paid homage to where Pride started....we can never forget where we came from...where and when it started....our roots are what keep us grounded and growing. They fought so we could celebrate. They cried so could laugh. And I feel like we made them proud this weekend.

Remember. Pride is not a weekend. It's not a month. It's a movement. It's alive. It has a heartbeat. Let's keep growing. Let's continue with what was started. Remain visible all year. Volunteer, reach out to AUGUSTA PRIDE and suggest collaboration, be present. Support your local safe spaces. Most importantly, support each other. We see you. We love you. We are here for all of you. ✨️
