Part 3 of the most common inflammatory skin conditions I treat, finally melasma.

Melasma is one of the most stubborn inflammatory pigment conditions I treat, and it takes more than one treatment to get the best results.

Here’s the combination I reach for most often:

✨ Moxi
Moxi is my first choice because it stimulates collagen while creating controlled skin renewal. It helps improve skin texture and gradually reduce unwanted pigment with a gentle approach that’s well suited for many patients with melasma.

✨ Chemical Peels
Chemical peels help brighten the skin, improve uneven pigmentation, and support healthy cell turnover. When performed consistently and paired with the right home care, they can make a noticeable difference.

✨ Microneedling
Microneedling isn’t just about collagen. It helps strengthen the skin, supports healthy healing, and creates a more resilient skin environment over time.

The biggest mistake I see? Treating melasma like it’s just a dark spot.

Melasma is a chronic inflammatory skin condition. That’s why lasting results usually come from a combination of in-office treatments, daily sunscreen, medical-grade skincare, and a plan that’s tailored to your skin.

No two cases of melasma are exactly alike, which is why your treatment plan shouldn’t be either.

Acne isn’t just a surface problem. It’s an inflammatory skin condition, which means treating the root cause matters just as much as treating the breakouts.

Here’s my go-to treatment combination for acne:

✨ BBL (BroadBand Light)
Helps reduce acne-causing bacteria, calm inflammation, fade redness, and support healthier skin.

✨ Chemical Peels
Clear away dead skin cells, reduce congestion, and keep pores from becoming clogged.

✨ Microneedling
Not just for acne scars. Microneedling stimulates collagen, helps regulate inflammation, and encourages your skin to repair itself from within.

No single treatment works for everyone. The best results come from combining the right in-office treatments with a customized medical-grade skincare routine based on your skin’s needs.

POV: Your mom is an esthetician… so your spa days start early. 🤍

My favorite patient will always be my son. 💙

A gentle sensory facial, a quiet room, soft brushes, and lots of patience. Watching him completely relax reminded me that self-care looks different for everyone.

Some of the best treatments don’t just care for the skin. They care for the nervous system too. 😌

Some ingredients are good on their own. The right combinations are even better.

Think of your skincare routine as a team. Each ingredient has a specific job, but certain pairings support each other to deliver better results while helping reduce irritation.

In this carousel, you’ll learn why these combinations work so well:
✨Vitamin C + Sunscreen for brighter, better-protected skin
✨Retinol + Ceramides for smoother skin with less dryness
✨Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide to target breakouts while supporting the skin barrier
✨Hyaluronic Acid + Ceramides for lasting hydration
✨Azelaic Acid + Niacinamide to calm redness and fade post-acne marks
✨Benzoyl Peroxide + Moisturizer to fight acne without over-drying your skin

The best skincare routine isn’t about using the most products. It’s about choosing ingredients that work together for your skin’s needs.
