One of the best ways to really keep the momentum going in the gym is to have an icon. When I started lifting way back in the day I always had an icon, a person that had already walked the path.
An icon shows you what's possible, and also portrays traits such as positivity, confidence, self worth, etc. For me, most of my icons came off the TV screen. I found myself drawn to them and sure enough, I created these traits within myself.
Get yourself an icon, someone you look up to in many ways. Surround yourself with what they do because the power of an icon is immeasurable. For part of my legacy, I'd just like to be the icon for others and for that reason I try to share as much as I can to inspire a change. Big things coming!

Just stay true to the journey. Stop comparing yourself to others! That will only take your focus off the amazing stuff you can do for yourself. It's cool to have mentors, coaches, icons, but realize this is a marathon. Be good!
