I Slay - A Body Positive Nonprofit

We’re adding to the I SLAY Board! 💕✨

As I SLAY continues to grow, we’re looking for a few more people who want to help us build what comes next.
We’re currently looking for:

💕 Secretary — our organized person who can help keep our Board, meetings, records and action items on track.

📱 Social Media Coordinator — our creative friend who can help us capture, create and share the stories, events and people that make I SLAY what it is.

These are volunteer leadership positions, and you do NOT need previous nonprofit Board experience to apply.

What we care about most is finding people who believe in our mission, care about the plus-size community, communicate well, follow through on their commitments and genuinely want to contribute.

If you’ve been looking for a way to get more involved with I SLAY, this might be your sign. 👀💕

✨ Applications are now open!

October at I Slay is PACKED with community, creativity, movement, and a little bit of seasonal magic!
Here’s what we’ve got coming up:

☕ October 16 | Laptops & Lattes
Join Jenna + Eve E Gomez at St. Elmo Brewing Co. Springdale for our free coworking meetup! RSVP so we know how much space to set aside, then come for the whole time or pop in for a bit. Grab a coffee, an adult beverage, or something delicious from one of the three staple food trucks. Come work, chat, or simply exist around other awesome humans.

📦 October 17 | I Slay Storage Organization Day
We’re getting our storage unit organized and we need YOUR help! We’ll be sorting clothing and reorganizing our space. If you love a good organizing project, this is your moment. Volunteers welcome!

🧘🏽‍♀️ October 18 | Pilates with Este
Get your body moving with our incredible instructor, Este at Myo! Tickets are $15, as always our classes are beginner friendly and designed to meet you where you are. Bring your water, your body, and your can do attitude. Free parking is available!

💀🎨 October 23 | Día De Los Mu***os Shadow Box Craft Night
Join us at Fast Friends B**r Co. for a spooky creative night where we’ll make and decorate our own Día De Los Mu***os shadow boxes! Any body 18+ is welcome. Tickets are $15 and include all supplies. No artistic experience required. Just bring yourself and let’s get crafty!

👚 October 25 | Plus Size Clothing Swap
Our monthly swap is BACK! Join us at Sound Space inside Captain Quack’s for our always FREE plus size clothing swap. Bring pieces you’re ready to pass along, browse for some new-to-you favorites, or just come hang with the community. No money, no pressure, just clothes and community.

Whether you’re here to work, organize, move, create, or swap, there’s a little something for everyone this month.

Come as you are. Make some friends. Take up space. I Slay is yours, too.
