Love a good before and after! We did some gray coverage, brought up her balayage, and did a good chop to freshen up her hair and give it some TLC. While I love doing crazy vivid transformations, I also equally love my dimensional blonde and brunette girlies too!

Nothing says happy graduation better than having brown hair all year but now rocking pink hair walking across the stage for your diploma. Am I right? 😜😍

Such a fun time creating this beautiful red for my client. This look was created with just color, no lightening involved! Formulating reds can be tricky because there’s such a tonal spectrum for depth, vibrance, more copper, more gold, more true red, or more red violet. The key is proper consultation to determine tone and knowing your underlying pigments at your starting level to navigate how to formulate to your desired goal.

We were shooting for a vibrant but natural looking red copper, and I think we achieved that. What do you think?

A couple months late to posting this but we were OBSESSED with this color transformation! 😍. Peep the before and after slide 🙌

What a transformation! 😍

It was a tedious process but so worth it! I started off with a treatment to protect her hair before the lightening process. Then I went in to the lightening portion. I started with zone 2 (the band between her roots and previously lightened hair and lifted that to a level 9. Then I went over the previously lightened ends with color remover and 10vol to gently lift through some old color buildup on the ends. After that I immediately lightened the roots back to front (that way I could rinse her in sections to keep the hair as healthy as possible).

After she was lightened all over and we had an even canvas again, I pre-toned her hair then did a ribbon placement of 5 fashion colors to get this sunset inspired hair. And of course I finished off with the k18 molecular repair mask to condition her hair and keep the integrity 💯 after this big color service
