A 7–5 work-from-home day in my life as a UX researcher at Expedia 👩💻✈️
Some days are strategy-heavy, some are meeting-heavy, and some are four straight hours of talking to travelers and trying to understand why something that seemed obvious on paper… absolutely was not 😂
I love that this job lets me see the gap between what we think people will do and what they actually do — and then help make the experience better because of it.
By 5pm, though: researcher brain off. Gym girl on.
One of my favorite things about getting older is realizing that self-improvement doesn’t have to be a full-time job.
I still care deeply about growing, taking care of myself, and being intentional about my life. But I also think there’s something really healthy about reaching a point where you don’t feel like you need to constantly fix, optimize, or analyze yourself.
Maybe part of the glow-up is actually liking the person you’ve already become. 🤍

I think one of the most underrated parts of love is feeling considered in the ordinary moments.
Not just the big romantic gestures. The “I’ll take the dogs out,” “I handled it,” “I got the tickets,” “I thought of you” kind of stuff.
A lot of adult romance really does sound like logistics 😂
And maybe that’s why it means so much.
