PSA : PLEASE read your ingredient lists. I say this every time we educate after our facials. This is one of the many reasons why choosing OTC products can be misleading.

The marketing of this product is false. What do you notice the first main ingredient in there is……? And then….?

WHAT!? They are suggesting to use this everyday, 2x a day. Not to avoid eyelids, without warning of flaking, or proper use of sun exposure? It’s scary!

I’ve found that when clients are experiencing issues with ingredients, such as vitamin C, they say that their skin can’t handle it. Or it’s “too sensitive.” When in reality it might just be because they don’t know exactly what’s in their product.

*Sensitive skin = compromised microbiome. But that’s a whole different conversation.

Bring in your products next time we have a facial together. I’m HAPPY to look through what you’re using.
