As we age, or simply due to individual muscle activity, these bands can become more noticeable and may make the neck appear less smooth and defined.
Platysmal Bands treatment uses targeted botulinum toxin injections to temporarily relax the platysma muscle. By reducing excessive muscle activity, the treatment can soften the appearance of vertical neck bands and create a smoother, more refined-looking neck.

The platysma is a thin, superficial muscle that covers much of the neck and has important anatomical relationships with surrounding structures. That’s why proper anatomical knowledge and accurate placement are essential when performing this treatment.
