Cooking up something new!

Sometimes my bars don’t come out right… this batch was really crumbly for some reason. I followed the same recipe as always, used the same ingredients as always, who knows 🤷‍♀️ But I never waste my materials. Because I’m small batch I get down and dirty and do my best. They may not look the prettiest or perfect when I’m done but they work and they are salvaged. At empirical, we are striving to be plastic free, environmentally friendly, and not waste any resources. I say, once the shampoo gets wet and is in the shower, what does it matter what it looks like anyway, right? Anyway, here’s a peek at my process!

✨New conditioner bars are ready!✨ To match the fragile hair shampoo, I have fragile conditioner bars. They are also the new reduced price of $10. ✨ My website is going through a fun new overhaul so if you head over there to make a purchase please forgive the appearance 🤦‍♀️ it’s a work in progress! ✨These lovelies wrapped up perfectly, if I do say so myself! ✨My first new shampoo line focuses on fragile hair. This line blends together essential oils clary sage, lavender, sandalwood, white thyme, wintergreen, and Roman chamomile. Anyone is welcome to use this shampoo, if you like the scents, but I would recommend this shampoo to a customer if they had concerns about fragile or breaking hair. ✨ I also wanted to announce my prices are lowering. While everywhere around us prices are increasing, everything is harder and harder, I want to make sure my products are still able to make into the hands of my customers. My shampoo and conditioner bars are now $10.

Well, summer is over, the kids are back at school and so I’m back to work! I have a new batch of shampoo thats done curing and ready to be wrapped up. I’ll have some new lines and scents coming out this fall, so keep an eye out for that. I’ll be at some festivals and fairs and markets this fall and winter; I can’t wait to see everyone again. It was a lovely summer and break but I’m happy to get back to work! ☺️
