✨ BONUS BEAUTY LESSON: THE 10-MINUTE BEAT ✨

You don’t always need a full glam to pull yourself together! 💄 Today I’m giving myself a quick, light beat—but there’s a little lesson in this one too. 👀

One thing I’ve learned as a makeup artist: the finish of your complexion isn’t only about the foundation or complexion product you choose. Your skin prep AND how you set your makeup matter too.

For this look, I:

✨ Prepped my skin before makeup
🤎 Applied my Mary Kay CC Cream in Very Deep
✨ Set my complexion into place to take down some of the dewiness
🤎 Created a soft, more matte finish without doing a heavy full-glam base

So if your complexion product gives you more glow than you want, that doesn’t always mean you have to completely change products. Think about how you’re prepping and setting your base, too!

Makeup is about understanding your products AND your technique. 💡
