Hello loves! For all who are new to Brainiac Beauty and our Makeup Tutorial Parties, my name is Mariah. I’m a Makeup Artist from Baltimore, Maryland and the creator of our paint & sip style makeup classes called “Sip & Pretty” Makeup Tutorial Parties.
It was important to me to create classes that are design for beginners because I get a little annoyed when things say “beginner-friendly” but when you get there it’s definitely not. Our classes are created FOR beginners - open to all levels 💕
At class, we start from scratch, dive into the details, and prioritize simplicity.
As seen on slide 3, one month after our very first class in Baltimore in 2024, we were featured in The Baltimore Business Journal alongside other fantastic emerging black-owned small businesses in celebration of Black History Month. Being asked to be participate in that roundup was a total surprise and honor because we were simply creating art. I’m forever grateful.
I’ve been a MUA for 15+ years. I started off doing my own makeup for fun; then friends makeup.
While living in New Jersey after college, I began formally training as Makeup Artist in Manhattan NY and assisting as a wedding MUA in Long Island, NY.
I continued learning and growing as an artist through seeking out diverse experiences, opportunities, art forms and communities that stretched me outside of my comfort zone.
In addition to our super fun ticketed classes that help create community, our classes also help people maintain community ✨
We’ve hosted private parties for reunions, girls days, birthdays and holiday parties … you name it 💕💄🎉
Our wonderful guests are truly what makes each class so special.
