Effortless chic: dimensional color, cuts, and treatments tailored for you in a private salon retreat.
Soft highlights don’t have to make brunette hair feel too light. For this look, the goal was subtle brightness, movement, and a softer grow-out while keeping the richness of her brown hair.
This is the kind of color that still feels natural, but gives the hair more dimension in photos, in daylight, and as it grows between appointments.
Perfect if you want a change without feeling too light.

This guest came in after seven months, and because her color was designed with grow-out in mind, we were able to refresh her look without starting from scratch.
Life gets busy. Plans change. Appointments get pushed out.
That's why I focus on creating color that grows out as softly as possible.
Whether you come in every 8 weeks or every 7 months, the goal is the same….hair that looks good, feels healthy, and fits your real life.

Over time, appointments become conversations. I learn what you're struggling with, what you love about your hair, what you don't, and how your needs change through different seasons of life.
The goal isn't simply beautiful hair when you leave the salon. It's creating a plan that fits your lifestyle, grows out well, and still feels like you weeks later.
Many of the women who sit in my chair have trusted me with their hair for years, and that trust is something I never take for granted.
Thank you to every guest who continues to choose me, refer friends and family, and allow me to be part of your story.

Not every blonde appointment should reset your entire hair color. A lot of the time, keeping hair looking good between appointments is about knowing what actually needs refreshing and what doesn’t.
Sometimes it’s a gloss, a few face frame highlights, soft brightness around the top, reshaping the haircut or adjusting tone from seasonal warmth
After 30+ years behind the chair, one of the biggest things I’ve learned is that great hair usually comes from having a realistic long term plan, not constantly starting over.
The goal is hair that still feels soft, blended, and easy weeks later.

Ever notice your brunette hair looks warmer, redder, or more copper once sunny weather shows up?
You’re not imagining it.
Sun, minerals, hard water, heat, and normal color fading can all shift brunette tones over time.
In my newest blog, I break down:
• why it happens• how to help prevent unwanted warmth• what to do if you actually love warmer tones
Small changes can make a big difference in helping your brunette stay closer to the tone you want.

Why Brunette Hair Turns Warm or Red in Sunny Weather — Sarah Rosenow Salon - Bellevue, WA Why brunette hair turns warm or reddish in sunny weather, plus tips to prevent fading, brassiness, and overly warm brunette tones.
Many of the guests shown here have trusted me with their hair for years, and I never take that lightly.
After 30+ years behind the chair, one of the biggest things I’ve learned is that great hair is not about chasing trends. It’s about creating color that fits the person wearing it and still feels good between appointments.
The right balance of depth, brightness, and dimension helps the color grow out softer, stay blended longer, and feel easier to live with over time.

Long, thick hair like this usually needs a little more time, product, and detail work.
For this appointment, we did a partial highlight, gloss, and haircut to brighten everything up while keeping depth and softness through the ends.
The goal wasn’t overly blonde or high maintenance. Just soft blended color that still looks good weeks later, with a haircut that keeps its shape between visits.
Because of her hair density and length, this service did require additional pricing for extra product and time behind the chair. I always go over that upfront so there are no surprises during the appointment.

It’s never just about getting your hair done.
It’s having someone who listens, who pays attention to how your hair is changing, and adjusts along the way.
So your color grows out softer, your cut keeps its shape, and your hair feels good weeks later.

Gray blending, but make it natural. Gray doesn't have to mean one solid color or constant root touch-ups.
These are a few ways gray can be softened into your natural hair, whether you're blonde or brunette.
The goal is a blend that grows out without harsh lines and still looks good months later.
Each one is a little different depending on your starting point, how your hair lifts, and how often you want to come in.
If you've been unsure what to book or where to start, this is usually the direction we look at first.
