I woke up this morning thinking about how grateful I am for all the amazing creatives I work with and just how diverse their interests and skill sets are. Getting to come to work everyday in this beautiful space is a dream come true! I don’t share a lot personally on this page because I love to use this space to prop up and showcase all of our talented stylists💖 if you’ve been here, you know! If you haven’t yet - we would love to welcome you! Trust, we have the perfect stylist to suit your needs and we are happy to help you find that person. If you feel like story time, read on and I’ll share a little background of what got us here. I dreamed up this space and all the wonderful people who make this space what it is because I wanted to work in an environment that supports individuality, creative expression, connection, learning, and growth. I started working at a salon front desk when I was 15 and pretty quickly decided I loved the salon life. I went to cosmetology school during my senior year of high school. Being from a big family (8 kids!) I was the only one of my siblings who made the choice not to attend college. There are so many paths to take and I’m so happy I chose to learn this trade. I got licensed at 18 and worked behind the chair for two years then decided I was ready to take on more so I started managing a salon at 20, did that for about 7 years, then opened Argyle at 28. We were in our first location on King Street for 10 years and that started as a 6 chair salon. We grew there and eventually had 9 chairs. We moved to our current location in 2016 and we have 20 chairs here. The people who fill this space are what truly makes it what it is, our stylists, front desk staff, and all of you who choose to come in and share space with us. We are truly grateful 🫶

Our salon is located in the heart of downtown Bellingham in the historic Herald Building. We offer a light filled, plant filled, healthy and supportive environment that is the perfect place for a stylist who is looking to work with and be inspired by other amazing people! 🎓!!big congrats to Arynn!!🎓n graduated from WWU over the weekend with a double major in Communication Studies and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies and will take a little breather before starting her Master’s. We have been lucky to have Arynn at our front desk for almost two years now. She is such a joy to work with🩵✨ we are so proud of you Arynn!!
