❤️🌿🐉 DRUMS, DRAGONS, HORSES & A VERY SPICY MACAW… THE WINDS OF CHANGE ARE BLOWING AT PEACE & PLENTY RANCH! 🥁🐎🦜✨

Some stories are years in the making, and this one is especially close to my heart. ❤️

Almost three years ago, I began working with Kristi Berliew of Winds of Change Holistic Healing on my own personal healing journey.

It didn’t take us long to hit it off! We connected through our shared interest in holistic healing, spirituality, and helping others find peace and restoration.

❤️🙏 My own path to recovery began with Jesus and Kristi.

And believe me, there’s a whole lot more to that story than I could ever fit into one Facebook post!

Someday, I’ll share more about that journey and the incredible ways God has worked in my life. I just haven’t figured out exactly how He’s going to lead me to tell it yet.

Maybe through writing, keynote speaking, music, acting, poetry, or even a play. Knowing me, it might be a little bit of everything! 😂❤️

But one thing I know for certain: Jesus has been at the center of my healing journey, and Kristi was there at the beginning of a very important chapter.

And now, after years of talking about helping others, we’re finally bringing that shared vision to life. 🙏🌿

🐉 FOUR DRAGONS, A BLESSING & A SHARED VISION

Not long after we met, Kristi came to Peace & Plenty Ranch and performed a very special blessing over the property.

She brought her drums, her beautiful spiritual energy, and her four dragons, placing one at each corner of the ranch as a spiritual hedge of protection, blessing the land and surrounding it with intentions of peace, healing, and protection from evil. 🐉🙏

And that was when we began talking about creating healing retreats together!

We’ve spent the last two and a half years sharing ideas, dreaming, planning, and talking about the possibilities.

FAST-FORWARD TO TODAY… AND HERE WE ARE!!! ❤️🎉

My dear friend Nana, as I affectionately call her, is finally here at Peace & Plenty Ranch, and she’s getting her drums and dragons all fired up! 🥁🐉🔥

And apparently, the animals have been waiting for her, too!

🐎❤️ THE HORSES KNOW SOMETHING’S HAPPENING!

Today, when Kristi arrived at our future Healing Center, the horses were standing outside the building waiting for her!

They’ve NEVER done that before!

I couldn’t believe it. It was such a special moment, and fortunately, I caught it on video.

And that’s not the only incredible interaction we’ve had.

🥁🫏 ENTER HOUDI… DIRECTOR OF UNAUTHORIZED DRUMMING OPERATIONS! 😂

During her visit, Kristi was walking through the ranch beating her drum, and the entire herd started following her!

But apparently, Houdi decided this peaceful procession had a serious leadership problem.

That jackass walks right up to Twister, cuts him off, nudges him out of the way, and proceeds to take the lead directly behind Nana! 🤣

HOUDI’S OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

“This is a union-sanctioned spiritual procession, and I have appointed myself Director of Drumming Operations. Twister has been reassigned to a nonmanagement position.” 🫏⚖️🥁

Meanwhile, Nana is trying to bring peace and harmony to the herd, and Houdi is already reorganizing the entire department!

SOMEBODY HIDE THE DRUMS BEFORE HE DEMANDS A PERCUSSION ALLOWANCE AND SIX WEEKS OF PAID SPIRITUAL LEAVE! 🤣🤣

🌊 THE OCEAN DRUM — A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE

Kristi also introduced me to her ocean drum.

If you’ve never heard one, the sound is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of ocean waves washing onto the shore.

For me, there’s something deeply peaceful about imagining those waves washing away the things we no longer need to carry, leaving us feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace. 🌊❤️

🦜❤️ AND THEN THERE’S ROSA… OUR VERY SPICY LITTLE MACAW!

Rosa is my beautiful Milligold Macaw, and she has a personality about ten times bigger than her body!

She came into my life during a very difficult time, when I was feeling incredibly low and struggling to find my way forward.

I believe God brought her into my life for a reason.

Rosa is a rescue bird who came with some emotional baggage of her own. When she first arrived, she was frightened, defensive, and had a pretty impressive set of weapons attached to her face! 😂🦜

And believe me, she knew how to use them!

But through patience, love, and building trust, Rosa has come such a long way. She’s become an incredibly special part of my life and our ranch family.

A couple of my horses have also experienced mistreatment by humans, and watching them gradually learn to trust again has been one of the most rewarding parts of caring for them.

Sometimes I think the animals who have been through the hardest experiences have the most beautiful lessons to teach us about trust, patience, and love. ❤️

And when Nana started playing her drum for Rosa?

Well, let’s just say that spicy little bird was VERY intrigued! 🥁🦜😂

🌿🐎 AND THIS IS WHERE OUR NEXT CHAPTER BEGINS!

What started as my own healing journey and a beautiful friendship has grown into a shared calling to serve others.

We’re preparing our Peace & Plenty Rebalancing & Wellness Healing Center, where we’ll be bringing together biofeedback scans, energetic rebalancing, somatic bodywork, sound experiences, and other holistic wellness services.

And one of the things I’m MOST excited about is expanding our wellness experiences beyond people to include horses and other animals!

Kristi has never had the opportunity to explore this side of her work on a ranch like ours, and she’s absolutely thrilled about the possibilities!

We’re looking forward to creating opportunities for people to experience the sounds, peaceful surroundings, and connection with their horses and other animals in a whole new way.

My heart is especially drawn to supporting women on their journeys toward healing and restoration, but our vision reaches much further.

People. Horses. Animals. Mind, body, and spirit. ❤️🌿🐎

It’s about creating a place where people can step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with themselves, and experience peace, encouragement, and renewal.

Nana, we’ve talked about this for YEARS… AND NOW WE’RE FINALLY DOING IT! ❤️🙏

I can’t wait to see where God leads us from here!

And judging by today’s welcome committee outside the Healing Center, I think the horses are pretty excited, too!

As for Houdi?

HR HAS ALREADY RECEIVED HIS APPLICATION FOR CHIEF SPIRITUAL OFFICER, AND MANAGEMENT HAS DENIED IT. 🫏🥁🤣

Flying so much as a child going between my parents and grandparents I looked at a lot of clouds. I remember secretly going to see my mom on one. (She died when I was 8.) It's been 7 years since ive flown. It feels different this time. Different journey, different outcome.. above the clouds is magical, it is transformative, it's a new landscape to create in your life.
