Simplee Skin
Lisensed Aesthetician
Nobody warns you how much permission you need to just... be still. π€
A treatment isn't something to get through β it's one of the rare moments where doing absolutely nothing is the whole point.
Let the room take care of the rest.

"What's the point of getting regular facials?" β I get this one a lot.
Here's the honest answer: a facial is maintenance. A skin treatment is correction. They're not competing with each other β they're doing two different jobs.
Swipe through the conversation I'd actually have with you about it.

That routine she swears by? It worked for her because it was never actually a guess β it was built around her skin, her concerns, her skin type.
Yours is different. And that's exactly why copying someone else's routine rarely gives you the same result, no matter how well it worked for them.
Your skin doesn't need someone else's answer. It needs its own plan β one built around what's actually happening with your pigment, your texture, your barrier, your goals.
Comment GLOW and I'll help you choose. Or book through the link in bio.

Your skin is made of protein. Here's where peptides fit.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the building blocks of protein. Your body makes and uses them every day.
That's the idea behind oral peptide strips: support from the inside, with no needles and nothing on your skin, working alongside what we do in the treatment room.
Think of it as the inside half of your routine. On Saturday I'll show you how I take mine.

You had one peel five days ago and you're asking where the results are. Stop.
Collagen and cell turnover work on biology's schedule, not Amazon Prime's. A treatment is a signal. Your skin does the heavy lifting in the weeks after. Some changes show in weeks. The dramatic ones show in months, and they go to the clients who wait.
The skin that glows at Christmas started in October.

Being hairy is scary. Shaving every day for the rest of your life? Scarier.
Here's the math on smooth: laser sessions are spaced weeks apart, so starting in October means finishing by late spring. And less sun exposure now makes treatment easier on your skin.
This is the one treatment where October decides next July.

The scariest sentence in skincare: "I don't need SPF anymore, it's fall."
Class is in session. Myth one: makeup with SPF counts. You'd need several times the normal amount to get the protection on the label. Myth two: it's cloudy. UVA doesn't care about clouds, and UVA is a big one for pigment. Myth three: I'm mostly indoors. Your car commute counts. Windows don't block UVA.
The fall SPF drop-off is one reason pigment creeps back by spring. Keep it on the counter, not in the drawer.
Which myth were you living by? Be honest. π

In the beginning, it was networking, drinking coffee, and brainstorming at Onyx.
Every business starts somewhere. Before Simplee Skin was a treatment room, it was a lot of conversations, a lot of coffee, and a lot of ideas talked through at Onyx.
Where do you do your best thinking? Drop your favorite NWA coffee spot below. π

Glow season is here, and it starts with slowing down. π
Sunday skin, slow Sunday β cleanse, moisturize, SPF if you're stepping out, and a minute to actually be still.
The glow isn't rushed. It's built, one quiet Sunday at a time.
Rest is part of the routine too.
