Don't believe the LIES. Companies that market their mineral makeup as 'organic' are straight up LYING to you. Mineral pigments such as zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, micas, etc. are INORGANIC. Their formulas may contain ingredients such as extracts/botanicals/oils that themselves are organic but that doesn't make the end product organic. Labeling their products as such is considered misbranding by the FDA.
Why do companies do this? Because it's a marketing ploy that makes you think you're getting a superior product and they get you to open your wallet. A money grab. They assume you don't know better. Well, now you do. You're welcome.

✨️You already know that cleaning your makeup brushes on a regular basis is super important. But, did you know that regularly cleaning the lids of your mineral makeup jars is just as important?
✨️Many mineral powder users use the lid of their jars to work out of when applying product. Brushes are dipped into the lid, swirled around in the lid and then the brushes that have picked up product are then applied to the skin. But, you could be picking up MORE than just product with every dip and swirl! Bacteria, environmental contaminants, dead skin cells, oxidized pigments and more can be lurking in your jar lids. YUK. 🤢
✨️The easy fix: simply wipe out your jar lids after each use with 70% isopropyl alcohol and let dry. It only takes a few seconds to do so but it can make a difference in getting acne breakouts.
✨️And wipe off your brushes too- dispense some 70% isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel and swipe your brushes back and forth to quickly sanitize and breakdown pigment build-up. Then, once a week do a deep cleaning of your brushes/tools. You'll get an overall better makeup application with clean tools & lids and your skin will be happier too!
