25 clippers and trimmers simply won’t compensate for poor skill—I promise.

You don’t have to harm your wallet by investing in countless trimmers nor do you need to clutter your station with all the tools. Find four specific types of trimmers and be amazed at what you can accomplish as you learn the tool and improve your skills.

As far as clipper work is concerned, I can accomplish everything I need to do with four tools:

1: Clippers: I use the FXOne by and they hold up. Well balanced, solid power, and it stays cool even when it’s absolutely crushing it!

2: Tight Trimmers: The FXOne Trimmers by BaByliss is the winner for me. It shares the same battery as the clippers and eliminates the fine line left by the foil shaver.

3: Soft Trimmer: The Sterling by is the winner for me. It’s quiet, easy to maintain, clean, and sanitize. When I’m not using it, it stays on the charger so it can pull its weight when it’s up to bat.

4: Foil Shaver: The double foil shaver by BaByliss wins the day. Again, it’s easy to maintain, clean, and sanitize. The one negative about the gold coating is that it reacts negatively with Cool Care so it peels. But, don’t let the appearance fool you—it punches above its weight class and it wins every time.
