📢 Important Booking Policy Update 📢

After much thought and consideration, I have made the decision to require a card on file when booking appointments at Massage Worx.

This was not an easy decision for me to make, but unfortunately I have experienced too many no-shows and last-minute cancellations. As a small business owner, missed appointments have a significant impact on my schedule and income.

Please note that this does not mean you have to pay with a card. In fact, I encourage cash or check payments whenever possible to help save on processing fees. The card on file is simply used to reserve your appointment and will only be charged in the event of a no-show or a cancellation that does not meet the required notice period.

This is also a friendly reminder that I require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Providing advance notice allows me the opportunity to offer that appointment time to another client who may be waiting for an opening.

I value each and every one of my clients and appreciate your understanding and support. Thank you for helping me continue to provide quality care and keep appointment times available for those who need them.

This past weekend I attended the AMTA Spring Convention where I completed a Therapeutic Cupping class. While cupping is already a modality I use in my sessions, it was amazing to learn new techniques and dive back into anatomy review.

I’m a strong believer in always continuing to learn, grow, and improve so I can provide the best care possible for my clients. I’m excited to bring these new skills and knowledge into my sessions and continue finding new ways to help all of you feel better and move easier. 💙
